If the software is "freezing" or "shutting down unexpectedly", follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1) Most commonly, these issues are caused by pending Windows Updates. Check if your device requires windows updates by opening the Settings and following this path: "Settings" > "Windows Update" > "Check for Updates".
2) Complete any pending updates and re-select "Check for updates". Continue completing updates and checking for updates until the settings show "You're up to date"
3) Check the RunDNA Software for any updates by completing the following steps:
3.1) Launch the RunDNA Software
3.2) Navigate to the "Help" Tab in the top toolbar
3.3) Select the "About" Icon
3.4) Select the "Check for updates" option
3.4.1) The pop-up should read "No newer version available"
NOTE: It is recommended that Windows is kept up to date on a frequent basis. Please install Windows updates prior to RunDNA software updates in the occurrence that both are available simultaneously.
4) Uninstall "Add On" or "SPAM" programs that are included with updates by opening the Settings and following this path: "Settings" > "Apps" > "Installed Apps"
4.1) Uninstall the following apps by selecting the 3 dots to the right and clicking "Uninstall"
4.1.1) McAfee
4.1.2) Web Assist by McAfee
4.1.3) Windows Defender
4.1.4) Xbox
4.1.5) Xbox Live
