Problem: You received one of these errors during attempt to "set reference"
1. Too Many Markers
2. Min Angle Too Small
3. Unable to Calculate Rotation
First, check the marker configuration for the Set Reference operation and ensure that it is arranged in the below orientation on the treadmill belt:
If the error proceeds, it is likely that the error during the Set Reference step is being caused by an issue during the wand calibration operation. Re calibrate the system using your wand, giving extra attention to the items below.
- Ensure there is nothing reflective in the calibration field by using the Snap feature to analyze the environment for any additional reflectivity present during calibration
- Ensure no reflectivity present on user completing the calibration by using the Snap feature
- Ensure the environment is not changing during the calibration process.
- Ex: others in the area walking through the field, a door opening with a reflective door knob, etc.
- Ensure there are no mirrors or windows in the view of the camera that could be reflecting images of the markers
- Check the condition of your wand (or rod) to ensure no movement of the calibration markers has occurred. (If this has occurred please Submit a Request)
- Ensure camera intensity is set appropriately (Typically between 2-4) (Camera Exposure Help Desk)
- Ensure you are not stepping too close to the camera bar during calibration
- You should not need to move any closer to the cameras than the back of the treadmill
- Repeat calibration by following the procedure outlined in the Camera Exposure, Wand Calibration, and Set Reference article
